Your First Appointment

I don’t like to keep you waiting, so please get to the office five minutes before your scheduled appointment so you’ll have time to fill out paperwork or just to catch your breath. Please make sure you eat before your treatment. No special clothing is necessary, if needed you’ll change in private, and be covered throughout your treatment, we usually need access to the arms and knees.

First appointments are longer (about 90 min), we will go over the initial intake form (connection here to PDF form) and talk in length about your reason of coming in.

We will discuss your medical history, diet, digestive system, medication, emotional state, sleep and more. As part of the intake I will take a look at your tongue and take your pulse in the service of making Chinese medical diagnosis.

After our conversation i will come with a specific treatment plan for you based on everything we have discussed followed by an acupuncture treatment, you will be staying with the needles for approximately 20 min. Other modalities may also be performed or suggested, including moxa, gua sha, cupping, electric stimulation and Tui Na (medical Massage).

Follow-up Appointments

On follow up treatments (last about 60 min) your progress will be tracked and adjustments will be made as needed.

Progress is cumulative but ups and downs can be expected depends on the history of your condition/length of the treatment.

Insurance Coverage

We accept out-of-network insurance and happy to check your benefits. Please email us with your insurance info including a copy of your insurance card, your full name, date of birth and mailing address.

We accept cash, check and all major credit cards at time of service.

Acupuncture

• New Patient (90 mins) – $150
• Follow-up appt (60 mins) – $105

Pediatric Acupuncture (under 18 years)

• New Patient (90 mins)- $150
• Follow-up appt (45 mins) – $90
Home visits are available. Please call or email to inquire for rates and scheduling.

Herbal Consultation

• New Patient (45 mins) – $90
• Follow-up (20 mins) – $45
Herbal consultation does not include the cost of herbal formula and shipping rates.

Cancellation Policy: We ask that you provide us at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to a patient on the waiting list. No-shows and appointments cancelled within 24 hours will be charged in full for the appointment. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
